Cattrall plays Margaret Monreaux in the new series, a TV host of ‘The Sunshine Network’ which she co-founded with her minister husband Eugene Monreaux [Gerald McRaney]. Eugene is discovered to have fathered not 1 but 3 ‘illegitimate’ children out of wedlock after he passes away, and every single one is written into his will, thus splitting the Monreaux estate and considerable fortune. Tonight’s “Pilot” series premiere is written and directed by Tate Taylor. Tate is most recently known for directing psychological thriller The Girl on The Train in 2016. FOX’s Filthy Rich is actually an American adaption of a New Zealand series by the same name.

Alongside Kim Cattrall and Gerald McRaney, Filthy Rich stars Aubrey Dollar as Margaret’s daughter Rose Monreaux, Corey Cott as Margaret’s son Eric Monreaux, Benjamin Levy Aguilar as Antonio Rivera (one of Eugene’s son with another woman), Mark L. Young as Jason Conley (one of Eugene’s sons with another woman), Melia Kreiling as Ginger Sweet (Eugene’s daughter with another woman), Steve Harris as the family’s lawyer, Olivia Macklin as Becky Monreaux (Eric’s wife), and Aaron Lazar (a rising televangelist on The Sunshine Network).
