Nuggets vs 76ers: Game Night Availability

According to NBA.com, both Joel Embiid and Ben Simmons will not take part in today’s matchup with the Nuggets. Embiid is out with back tightness while Simmons is out with left knee swelling.

Also reportedly out for the 76ers because of COVID health and safety protocol: Seth Curry, Tobias Harris, Vincent Poirier, Matisse Thybulle, and Shake Milton. Furkan Korkmaz is out with a strained left abductor, while Terrence Ferguson will not play because of personal reasons.

Mike Scott will suit up as he’s cleared the health and safety protocol but is unlikely to play as he’s coming off a left knee contusion. Danny Green and Paul Reed however should be good to go after clearing the protocol.

For the Denver Nuggets, Michael Porter Jr. is still out for the COVID health and safety protocol (with a return date sometime between January 17 – 21) and Greg Whittington is out with a left knee sprain.
