NBA bite size game notes:
Both James Harden and Jeff Green have been ruled out for Game 3 of this playoff series for the Nets. Bruce Brown has been starting in place of Harden as he heals up his right hamstring.
Nets Coach Steve Nash has remarked that Jeff Green, who’s dealing with an injury to his right foot, is progressing well. Green might be ready to go for the Nets on Sunday’s Game 4. Which potentially could be a closeout game depending on how Game 3 goes tonight.
Kevin Durant was the leading scorer for both teams in Game 2 with 32 points on 66.7% FG shooting. Kyrie Irving was the game’s second leading scorer with 22 points. Both Durant and Irving hit 4 three pointers a piece. Shots from beyond the arch were one of the major deciding factors in Game 2, with the Nets hitting 50% to the Bucks’ 29.6%.
The Nets also moved the ball better than the Bucks, with 27 assists to 14. The Bucks also turned the ball over 19 times. At one point the Nets were leading by 49 points, finishing the game 125-86. If the Bucks can’t turn things around in Game 3, it’s pretty much over. No team in NBA history has ever come back down 0-3 to win the series. Although Zach Randolph’s Trail Blazers pushed the Mavericks to a Game 7 after being down 0-3 in the early 2000s.
Another blowout would be crushing for the Bucks franchise with potential repercussions… Giannis Antetokounmpo leaving the franchise level crushing. That’s your NBABite size game notes for today. Enjoy the NBA Live Stream tonight!
