The Boston Celtics eliminated the Miami Heat in the Eastern Conference Finals but they were saved by an off-balance Jimmy Butler 3. The Heat were closing in with a 11-0 run prior. Marcus Smart had uncharacteristically missed a couple of fourth quarter three-pointers too in that Game 7.

There will be no room for error against the Golden State Warriors. Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson, Jordon Poole are superb, league best three point shooters.

Not to mention Andrew Wiggins, Otto Porter Jr., and Draymond Green are fully capable from long range. And Kevon Looney was playing great against the Dallas Mavericks, grabbing double digit boards.

If you get down early against the Warriors, you’re unlikely to come back because of their combination of of top notch 3 pointers and great free throwing shooting. The Celtics will have to lead with their defense. They cannot allow another 11-0 point style comeback like with the Miami Heat.

On offense, Jayson Tatum, Jaylen Brown, and Al Horford will be the primary options for the Celtics.
