“Not Tomorrow Yet”
Ember-haired Paula is featured by walkie-talkie voiceover at the conclusion of “Not Tomorrow Yet” where a Rick Grimes’ led ambush has cost Negan dearly. Grimes, a self-anointed judge, jury, and executioner is about to vanquish his last Savior outside a Negan satellite outpost… When a mysterious voice captures the Alexandria faction’s attention.
The voice is Paula’s, one of Negan’s Saviors, though her name is unknown to TWD viewers at this point in the series. Paula insists Rick & gang lower their weapons immediately. The unseen Savior is able to make out Grimes’ weapon, a Colt Python, indicating their proximity is within close range.
Rick responds by requesting their voyeurs ‘come on out’ of hiding to chat. Paula declines the offer to come out but agrees to chat, revealing they’ve taken Carol Peletier and Maggie Greene as hostages.
