Food Wars! Season 4 Dub gets Blu-ray release date
Sentai Filmworks has announced the Food Wars! Season 4 Dub Blu-ray for The Fourth Plate will release on February 23, 2021.
Sentai Filmworks released its February slate this afternoon and the Food Wars! The Fourth Plate English Dub officially has a release date!
On February 23rd, 2021 Food Wars! Season 4 Dub will release on Blu-ray with English & Japanese audio options and English subtitles.
A limited edition premium box set has also been announced but no release date is in stone for it as of yet, Sentai said a date will be available soon. You can pre-order the Food Wars! The Fourth Plate Blu-ray at Sentai’s store for $48.99 right now.

SYNOPSIS: The ultimate Regimental Food War continues as the culinary rebels led by Soma and the members of Kyokusei square off against epicurean elitist Azami and the Totsuki Ten. At stake – the future of dining across Japan. Because if the rebels fail, Azami intends to impose his own tastes and techniques on the entire restaurant industry!
But the fine dining control freak has made a serious mistake in threatening the futures of Soma’s friends and family, as while the rebels may seem less experienced overall, this is ultimately a clash of skill, dedication, and, most of all, taste. That may be a recipe for disaster for the seasoned veterans! Highly Anticipated Release
The Food Wars! The Fourth Plate Dub has been highly anticipated fans for a while, with the pandemic throwing a wrench into the release pipeline. Many diehard Western fans likely already caught the subtitled fourth season of Food Wars! Shokugeki no Soma on VRV and Crunchyroll. After all, the finale fifth season of Food Wars! Shokugeki no Soma has already aired in Japan and was simulcasted on VRV & Crunchyroll worldwide.
However, it’s not just Food Wars! Dub loyalists who will be buying this Blu-ray on Day 1. Dubs open an anime series to a whole new audience that might have never checked out a show if it was not in there native language. It could be the difference between a passing glance and Soma Yukihira influencing someone to go to culinary school. After all, many hardcore anime fans that watch dubbed and subbed anime alike, started their lifelong fandom in their youth watching Toonami.
