Kiefer Sutherland referenced Jack Bauer’s final appearance on TV series 24 for the first time in years today.

Though joking, Sutherland gave 24 fans everywhere hope that Jack Bauer might return someday after all. During Sutherland’s run on Designated Survivor and the arrival of 24: Legacy’s reboot, it seemed Bauer’s hiatus would never end.

Maybe there will be 24: Live Another Day Part 2 almost a decade later? Flashbacks with David Palmer/Nina Meyers, a live Tony Almeida – Jack Bauer reunion, Homeland cross-over too much to ask for?
24 fans will settle with another 12 or 24 episodes of just Jack saving the world again with Chloe O’Brian by his side, frankly. We don’t even need 24 hours in real time, even a 2 hour special would do wonders.
Howard Gordon, do your magic and make it happen, bring Jack Bauer and Chloe O’Brian back on television! Resurrect the ultimate television show back to Los Angeles and let Jack be Jack, FOX. There’s never been a better or more interesting time, to give the TV show and its portrayal of CTU another run with the duo that made it all work.
The series was only beginning to modernize Jack with drone warfare in Live Another Day, think of the possibilities to explore now. Season 3’s virus storyline has never been more relevant to reprise for 2021.
Imagine seeing how Jack Bauer is doing during the pandemic in prison, isolated from the world. The script writes itself practically, it just needs the funding and green light for a literal goldmine.
