George Lopez babysits Chance or as he calls him “the Latino Dennis the Menace!” Meanwhile, Mayan is envious of her cousins’ lives on NBC’s Lopez vs Lopez Episode 15 – “Lopez vs Primos”.

“Lopez vs Primos” starts off innocent enough with a “Good morning” wake up song for Chance… And Quinten picking out peanuts out of Chance’s peanut butter spread for the “correct peanut butter to jelly ratio” in his sandwich.

George feels Mayan and Quinten are babying Chance by doing everything and anything for him, to the detriment of their own social lives. Proceeding to then eat Chance’s sandwich and commenting that “it’s delicious!”
Mayan Lopez envies her primos

At first glance, Mayan’s primos seem to have it all. Yesika has thousands of social media followers, is sponsored, and constantly live streaming. Miguel is an activist student pushing the Chicano movement forward. And Luna is living off the grid and off the system, a true rebel.

Mayan is tired of feeling like the ‘boring’ cousin since becoming a mom and asks George to babysit Chance. He reluctantly agrees after being guilt tripped into it.

Unable to break old habits, Mayan brings juice boxes and a bag of Cheerios to her primos’ van in case anyone gets hungry or thirsty.

Yesika introducing her as the non exciting cousin during a live stream gets to her however, and she agrees to throw a house party.
George Lopez babysits Chance reluctantly

Chance is displeased with George eating his PB & J sandwich and does not let him forget. Using a toy gun to shoot George in the back (“Aye!”) then dumping all his toys on the floor. Chance feels George ruined his “parents of the year” arrangement.
But by the end of episode 15, Chance is making his own sandwiches, and pronounces he’s a man now!
Lopez House party revelations

Things aren’t always what they seem from the outside looking in. During the house party, Quinten and Mayan spot a long line to the bathroom. Quinten knocks on the door and Luna reveals she has a tape worm!

Meanwhile, Miguel is spotted stealing food from Mayan and Quinten’s kitchen. Miguel admits he has $300,000 worth of student loan debt and not from “a good college”. Hence the fridge thieving.

Top top things off, Yesika is dropped from her sponsors when they find an equivalent influencer with an actual message. Yesika then confesses her followers are actually bots. In actuality, Mayan’s primos are envious of her getting her life together. Miguel even asks to be adopted.
Rosie vs Machismo: Javier’s life insurance

Rosie is unable to convince a client to sign a life insurance agreement for his wife. Though she tells him with his money it wouldn’t be worth millions, maybe a pre-owned Kia Sorento. The client, Javier, walks out on Rosie and she blames his machismo. Oscar offers to assist Rosie.

Oscar pretends he is actually Rosie’s boss and the client Javier returns to the table, all smiles.

With Javier at ease… And drunk after a night out at a swap meet, Rosie puts the finishing touches. Mariachi band music. Noting it ‘always worked on George when he was being stubborn’.

Javier is moved by the Mariachi music, and agrees to sign the insurance form. In the end, it was still Rosie who closed the commission.
