LA Galaxy hosting BLUELOCK Soccer Tournament on March 25

Crunchyroll, the LA Galaxy, and ‘Saturdays Football’ have announced a free BLUELOCK anime themed co-ed soccer tournament on Saturday, March 25 at 11:00 am PDT.

The BLUELOCK soccer tournament will take place at Dignity Health Sports Park and in true spirit to the anime, be 3 vs 3. Dignity Health Sports Park is located at 18400 Avalon Blvd, Suite 200 Carson, CA 90746.

You can get a free ticket to participate or watch at Eventbrite.

You must be 18+ to participate but anyone can attend and watch the games. Those arriving solo will be able to team up with other solo players on the spot.

Rules for the BLUELOCK tournament are available below:

“The tournament will follow “King of the Court” rules. There will be ten 3v3 games playing simultaneously. Each game will be played for 4-minute intervals with 1-minute breaks on all fields for 90 minutes.
 
The winning team of each game will advance to the next field until they reach one of the two top fields. Losers will move down to the bottom fields and work their way back up.
 
The two teams that win at the top fields by the end of the 90 minutes will play against each other in the final match for the grand prize!
 
The losing teams from the top fields will play for 3rd and 4th place.”

BLUELOCK LA Tournament Grand Prize:

“The winning team will receive a BLUELOCK prize pack that will include various exclusive swag and a custom BLUELOCK x Saturdays Football jersey that will only be available for winners of the tournament.
 
All participants will receive a Crunchyroll free trial code to watch BLUELOCK on the anime streaming service.”

There will also be a followup BLUELOCK tournament in Dallas, Texas at a later date (TBA). Officially the tournaments are hosted by a trifecta: Crunchyroll, LA Galaxy, and Saturdays Football.

The BLUELOCK anime series will see its season 1 finale air on Crunchyroll this weekend.
