The hitman turned acting student tried to simmer the situation when confronted by Janice, telling her he’s a new person now. That was all in the past, and his old life he wanted desperately to leave. However, Janice’s threat was non-negotiable leaving him with no choice but to integrate the actions of his secret life into the new one.
Naturally, Gene is absolutely reeling in despair as a result and Barry will try to motivate the class to push through a performance without Gene this episode. Meanwhile, NoHo Hank will ask Barry to step back into his metaphorical camouflage and work a hit for him.
The more our protagonist attempts to leave his old life behind, the more it pulls him back in. It turns out Fuches was not the problem for him, the life of a hitman does not rest on one person’s shoulders.
