HBO’s Barry continues tonight at 10 p.m. ET after a wild episode that saw Monroe Fuches’ hands superglued to his own car steering wheel. Last week saw Barry trying his best to avoid being directly involved in another hit, this time assigned by none other than Detective Loach. Barry attempted to reason his way through Loach’s wife’s new boyfriend Ronny Proxin to go to Chicago but it just didn’t work out. Eventually, an injured thought to be dead Ronny would spot a hooded Barry in a convince store and attempt to fight him in public. Workers fled and Detective Loach arrived seemingly shooting Ronny!

Loach appeared to have put down Ronny himself, sparing Barry from having another hit on his conscious. The Detective momentarily appeared to be about to also take Barry out in a faux setup before Ronny gave him a kick Liu Kang would be proud of. The police would arrive and shoot Ronny dead before he could get vengeance on Barry for all that transpired. Despite Loach meeting his end presumably saving Barry’s new life, he appeared disturbed. Fuches pleaded with him to get in the car, “Barry, buddy! We have to go!”

The preview trailer for this week’s episode has NoHo Hank elated to learn Esther and her crew are going back to the monastery. “They’re leaving us… Oh no!” NoHo Hank is barely able to hide his excitement with a massive smile on his face.

Meanwhile, Sally is conflicted about performing the truth of her scene in class. Sally couldn’t be more worried about the audience’s judging eyes, acting scene or not. Barry attempts to comfort her, “I think if you can tell the truth, you should.”

The hitman turned actor delivers some prime-time bad news to Fuches in the preview trailer at the top of the page at 0:22! He doesn’t think they should work together because of the wire incident much to Fuches’ dismay. “Why? Why?! What have I done? Name me one thing that I’ve done!”
