The following quote was said by actress Alycia Debnam-Carey during a virtual press roundtable The Natural Aristocrat® participated in for Fear The Walking Dead. It featured Alycia Debnam-Carey, Colman Domingo, Colby Minifie, and Maggie Grace.
“I do remember there was a moment when Frank left, you know… For me, it was a real grieving period. Not just for my character, but it did affect me in a really visceral way because you live this job seven months out of a year. And especially at the time, he was one of the few younger classmates as well. So, we were also sharing a similar life experience.
To lose that, it does affect you. Not just as a character but also as a person. Sometimes, that can be a little hard to distinguish when you’re working so much.

So, to have someone that’s been there from the beginning to kind of remind you like what your real life is. What your truth is and who you are… It does help a lot.
Colman [Domingo] is literally like actual family, and it has been very helpful to have that throughout what has been a real roller coaster. It definitely helps to have the consistency.

I’m very, very grateful for that! But you know, it is also the nature of the job that when it does change, you do want to embrace it. Change in this industry is very welcomed, to have a constant way to delve into new evolutions. That’s what keeps this really exciting!”
