Jimmy Butler’s Miami Heat have been struck by untimely injuries in the worst possible time, the NBA Finals. Butler did all he could in Game 2, scoring 25 points, dishing 13 assists, and pulling down 8 rebounds. He even had 12 trips to the free throw line and converted all but one… Yet, it was not enough, the Heat simply don’t have enough firepower without Goran Dragic and Bam Adebayo. Will the Los Angeles Lakers take a commanding 3-0 lead tonight?

According to NBA.com, both Bam Adebayo and Goran Dragic remain doubtful for Game 3. Dragic reportedly tore his left foot’s plantar fascia, it’s hard to imagine he’ll return to this series after what happened to Kevin Durant last year… But it is the Finals and stranger things have happened this year for sure.
It could be the only time this current Heat squad reach the Finals, you never know. The OKC Thunder never made it back after a crushing defeat to LeBron James’ Miami Heat in 2012. Charles Barkley was the first to call money being an issue and soon enough James Harden was indeed traded. A move that would set back the franchise from a perennial contending status until this very day.
The Heat need Bam and Goran to have a chance to make this a series as the Lakers have played excellent all series along. Anthony Davis (32) and LeBron James (33) combined for 65 points last game. LeBron dished out 9 assists along with 9 rebounds while Davis took down 14 boards. Davis shot a scorching 15 of 20 last game.
