LiSA, known to anime fans worldwide for singing Sword Art Online’s iconic first opening theme (“Crossing Field”), will perform an online concert, “ONLiNE LEO-NiNE” on December 12, 2020.

LiSA’s first ever online concert, titled “ONLiNE LEO-NiNE”, streams this Saturday, December 12 at 6 am EST / 8 pm JST with tickets on sale at StageCrowd.live.

Tickets are 3,800 ¥ Yen or $36.54 USD and will be available for purchase until 5 pm JST / 3 am EST. The show will be available after the live stream until December 19th through an archival link. Note, that you must have bought tickets prior to have access to the archival link.

The Sony Music star was crowned Japan’s top female solo artist in 2019 for hit single “Gurenge”, the opening theme to anime series Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba.

“Gurenge” currently enjoys over 32 million+ views while the music video for SAO’s “Crossing Field” has 67 million+ views.

LiSA’s latest single, “homura”, released digitally on October 12th, 2020 and ranked 7th on Apple Music’s “Top 100: Global” chart. The highest for any Japanese musician and 8th on Billboard’s Global 200.

Both “Gurenge” and “homura” have been officially confirmed for a performance during “ONLiNE LEO-NiNE”.

The concert name by the way takes after LiSA’s latest album, LEO-NiNE, released this past October 14th. It will be the first time LiSA has performed songs for LEO-NiNE live in any capacity.

LiSA comments on “ONLiNE LEO-NiNE”

“Live performances mean a lot to me, and throughout my music career, I’ve spent a lot of time performing live on stage. However, this year with the current situation, my original concert plans were changed, and I was upset and anxious about not being able to perform in front of fans. I kept hoping and considering possibilities to perform live and finally, I decided to hold this online concert”

In these difficult days, I wanted to deliver messages of strength and resilience through my latest works, which I always call “love letters,” my new album “LEO-NiNE” and single “homura.” I’ll be glad if you receive them well. With these love letters in hand, I’ll be singing at my online concert with the belief that “the best days are in the future,” and I hope you join me even if we’re far away from each other.

On December 12, I’ll be waiting for you ONLiNE. Let’s play the world!”
