Celtics Nets Game Notes:

The Boston Celtics are playing the second night of a back-to-back game. They defeated the Phoenix Suns yesterday 99-86 and are currently tied with the Atlanta Hawks in the East with a 32-27 record (0.542). The Celtics are currently in sixth seed, and Evan Fournier is not on the injury report for Friday’s game. GM Danny Ainge previously said Fournier could return possibly this weekend so this could be his first game back.

Meanwhile, the Brooklyn Nets are tied with the 76ers with a 39-20 record (0.661) and are currently the second seed in the East. Nets superstar James Harden experienced a setback with his hamstring recently after an MRI and is out indefinitely. Kevin Durant will also miss tonight’s game with a left knee contusion.

The Nets starting lineup on Tuesday vs the Pelicans saw Landry Shamet, Kyrie Irving, Joe Harris, Jeff Green, and DeAndre Jordan. Blake Griffin came off the bench with the second unit but Coach Steve Nash had Griffin starting on Sunday. So that Tuesday starting lineup is subject to change.
