The LA Clippers will catch a break with Mike Conley out for his third straight game with a mild right hamstring strain. However, they haven’t been able to capitalize on Conley’s absence. At one point in Game 2, the Utah Jazz had a 21 point lead over the Clippers.
Not to mention the LA Clippers have officially lost Serge Ibaka’s shot blocking and post presence for the reminder of the playoffs. Ibaka has underwent surgery on his back and will miss the reminder of the season.
Bad news for the Clippers obviously, especially because Zubac has had foul trouble against the Jazz. Picking up 4 fouls a piece in the first two games.
Picture that the LA Clippers hit 20 of 23 free throws compared to the Utah Jazz’s 13 of 21 free throws and still lost. All this without all-star point guard Mike Conley… Imagine when he comes back.
