Clippers forward Marcus Morris Sr. is a game time decision for Game 4 with left knee soreness. Morris’ ailing knee has caused him to play less minutes this series according to Coach Lue. The Phoenix Suns’ Cameron Payne is probable for Game 4, Payne has been dealing with a left ankle sprain. Suns’ guard Abdel Nadar is expected to be available tonight.
Suns Coach Monty Williams has commented that Chris Paul played a bit too many minutes in Game 3… 39 minutes to be exact coming off a COVID health and safety protocol suspension.
Clippers superstar Paul George was blowing the crowd kisses after an amazing running three pointer to end the quarter from half court last game. Paul George scored 27 points along with 15 rebounds and 8 assists last game, while fixing his free throws back to 6 of 7 (85.7% FT).
The Clippers had a field day in Game 3’s win but don’t expect Devin Booker and Chris Paul to both have bad shooting nights twice. Devin Booker went 5 of 21 last game while Chris Paul went 5 of 19 from the field. Suns center Deandre Ayton score 18 points on 9 of 13 shots, grabbed 9 rebounds, and blocked 2 shots.
The Clippers went to the free throw line more (20 of 24) than the Suns in Game 3 although the Suns shot the ball slightly better (12 of 13) from the charity stripe.
The winner of this Western Conference Finals playoff series will face either the Milwaukee Bucks or Atlanta Hawks in the NBA Finals. Can Coach Lue lead the Los Angeles Clippers to another miraculous comeback to win the series down 0-2? We’ll find out tonight if the Clippers can even out the series.
