LiSA concerts and music videos arrive on Crunchyroll

Crunchyroll has teamed up with Sony Music Entertainment to bring renowned singer LiSA to its premium anime streaming SVOD service.

LiSA is best known stateside for breakout hit and first ‘Sword Art Online’ opening theme song “Crossing Field”.

If you’re a Crunchyroll Premium subscriber you’ve likely already seen LiSA live concerts and music videos have been added to the service today. It’s on the front page when logging in on a computer.

Not to mention a plethora of high impact anime music artists alongside her.

The forward thinking anime music expansion was announced at the Crunchyroll Anime Awards in Japan. Here’s the details right from Crunchyroll:

“Crunchyroll is partnering with US-based Sony Music Entertainment (SME) to license SMEJ’s content outside of Japan.
 
The new music and content hub on Crunchyroll’s streaming platform is available today to its audience of 10M+ paying subscribers.
 
Users of Crunchyroll can now enjoy access to an extensive library of short-form music videos and more than 100 full-length live concerts from SMEJ artists, including Aimer, ASIAN KUNG-FU GENERATION, LiSA, Hiroyuki Sawano and many more.
 
User features at launch will include music video curation, artist listing page and search integration, followed by a dedicated music landing page/screen, enhanced discoverability and show page integrations in the future.”
