Singer Rina Maejima performed an impressive rendition of the national anthem ahead of the showdown between the Mets’ Kodai Senga and the Angels’ Shohei Ohtani.

“COBU, based in New York City, was created as a Live Rhythm Performing Arts Group in 2000.
 
“Dance Like Drumming, Drum Like Dancing”
 
COBU combines elements of the Japanese traditional Taiko drumming with rhythmic Tap dancing.
 
In 2001, the group received a “Choreography Award” by organization, ‘Mann & Entertainment’.
 
Yako Miyamoto, the founder of COBU is a current member of the off broadway-hit STOMP.”
