“With the progress of globalization in the world, many people related to Kyoto are active overseas.
Many of them would like to have a place where people related to Kyoto can gather, deepen friendships and exchanges, and exchange information. .
The “Kyoto Club” project began with the desire to give shape to such thoughts and support them.
Kyoto clubs can be established in cities (regions) around the world. It is voluntarily operated mainly by volunteers who live locally. The Kyoto Headquarters (Kyoto Prefectural Office) will assist if necessary.
Activities are expected to be activities similar to the so-called “Kenjinkai”, such as holding regular meetings and deepening friendships among members.”

“Kyoto is now receiving a lot of attention from all over the world. Many tourists from all over the world are visiting in search of historical heritage such as shrines and temples, as well as the beautiful and rich nature of each season.
In addition, thanks to the registration of Japanese cuisine as a UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage, the food culture of Kyoto, including Kyoto cuisine, which is the essence of Japanese cuisine, is attracting attention from around the world.
In this way, the history and culture that Kyoto has created over a thousand years has come to be loved by many people around the world, not only in Kyoto Prefecture, but also by people related to Kyoto and Kyoto companies around the world.”
