What does this time mean for you? Perhaps it is the time when many of you are sleeping or just awakening. 5am is a special time for me when I can feel myself one-on-one, with a mixture of hope, loneliness, anxiety, and ambiguity.
 
Sometimes I see the morning glow from the window and get excited about today’s day, and sometimes I wish the night happens to be back again. It is morning for someone, and night for someone.
 
5am, when I miss you, 5am, when I am happy on my way home, 5am, when I am exhausted the morning after an all-night vigil, and 5am on my bed alone, immersed in the world of books, not wanting anyone to disturb me. I love myself at any 5am.

Spending her youth in Canada, milet mixes her Japanese roots and English vibes to create her own, unique music. She started her music career in 2018 and was invited to perform on Yves Saint Laurent’s global event “YSL BEAUTY HOTEL,” held in Paris, New York, Seoul, Tokyo, etc., as the upcoming artist picked by YSL Beauty in October.
 
milet made her major debut on March 6, 2019 with the song “inside you” produced by Toru from ONE OK ROCK.
 
The song hit big, ranked in first place on 11 music charts in Japan including iTunes charts. Later in August, she released “us” and the song made to the top of Oricon Digital Chart and seven other music charts on DSPs such as Spotify.
 
In the end of 2020, milet was invited to perform on the Japanese annual music program “NHK Kohaku Uta Gassen,” which is what every Japanese singer dream to do.
 
Moreover, milet performed in the closing ceremony of the 2020 Summer Olympics, surprised all fans around the world.
 
milet spread her popularity among anime fans through her anime tie-in songs, most recently collaborated with MAN WITH A MISSION on theme songs “Kitsuna no Kiseki” and “Koi Kogare” for worldwide viral anime “Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – Swordsmith Village Arc”.
 
milet has now released several EPs and 2 studio albums. 1st album “eyes” was launched in June 2020, topping numerous music charts including Billboard JAPAN “HOT ALBUMS.”
 
She put out with her 2nd album “visions” in February 2022 also topped music charts in 9 countries and regions around the world. On August 30, 2023, milet is coming out with her 3rd album titled “5am” that is packed with numerous hit songs including “Koi Kogare”.”
