Younger’s sixth season continues this Wednesday with episode “The Debu-Taunt” on TV Land at 10:00 p.m. ET. You can catch the episode online from the comfort of your laptop via TVLand.com’s official live stream or with a free seven-day trial at Fubo TV.
According to Show Buzz Daily, the last Younger episode “Friends with Benefits” scored a 0.45 rating, slightly down from the week prior. That’s three episodes in a row where the show has seemingly dropped in viewership. A worrisome potential sign of a linear ratings decline for the series.
Unlike other shows however, Younger typically breaks the conventional TV viewership ‘rules’ and usually has a sudden ratings jump episode to episode. It’s still TV Land’s ratings rock and unlikely to continue trending downwards into ratings oblivion. Especially with a wedding between Diana Trout and Enzo waiting in the wings.
Season 6’s highest rating remains 0.65 for episode 4 (“An Inside Glob”). According to Deadline,TV Land has officially renewed Younger for a seventh season, making it the longest running original series on the network.

In a Younger preview clip published by EW.com, Liza runs into Charles’ ex-wife… While wearing her coat! However, the divorcee takes it in stride, and extends an olive branch to Liza. She even lets her keep the coat because ‘it’s cold out there.’

In the Younger preview trailer below, Liza is in tears in a phone call with Josh and says, “This time, there’s no going back!” Actress Sutton Foster calls Wednesday’s episode ‘Probably, the biggest episode of the entire series’ that’s aired and the rest of the cast similarly hyped it up. Since the episode description calls for Charles wanting to take the next step in the relationship, it appears Liza doesn’t. Is she going back to Josh?
