Virtual Crunchyroll Expo 2021 is Open for Registration

Virtual Crunchyroll Expo 2021, an online, digital take on Crunchyroll’s flagship convention is officially open for Free Registration and Fan Submissions.

Virtual Crunchyroll Expo 2021 will take place this August 5-7, with celebrity guest panels, exclusive world premieres, and newly announced merchandise. Registration for the aptly titled V-CRX 2021 is now open at expo.crunchyroll.com. It’s time to step back into ‘New Crunchy City’ with full access provided to the global anime community free of charge.

If a digital guest registers by April 30, they will receive exclusive backgrounds for desktop computers, mobile, and Zoom. They will also qualify for all future exclusive digital pre-show prize packs to come.

V-CRX 2021 has also opened submissions for fan panels, entries for Crunchyroll-Hime’s Cosplay Cup, and Artists’ Alley! Fan panel submissions close on Friday, June 11, entries for the Cosplay Cup are due on Sunday, June 6, and submissions for Artists’ Alley are due on Friday, May 7.

Last year’s V-CRX 2020 virtual event saw AEW star Miro, Scorpion voice actor Patrick Seitz, and Final Fantasy Type-0 voice actress Minori Chihara among its featured guests.

Shenmue creator Yu Suzuki also gave Crunchyroll an exclusive sit-down interview at V-CRX 2020 about the upcoming Shenmue anime.

You never know what of big announcements for Crunchyroll originals will arrive at V-CRX 2021. Especially as digital streams & chats become the primary means of convention interaction during the pandemic.
