1What a license is

A license is permission to use a photograph in a defined manner (for instance, within a news article or a documentary). It is not a sale of the photograph and conveys no copyright; ownership of the work is retained by Nir Regev. In substance, a license grants a specified use for a specified purpose, and nothing beyond it.

2Editorial license

An editorial license is granted for work that informs rather than sells: news, reporting, features, documentary, and educational use. It is the basis upon which the majority of these photographs are licensed.

It does not extend to advertising, sponsorship, packaging, merchandise, or any use that promotes a product, service, or brand; a boosted or sponsored post constitutes promotion and falls outside it. Credit is required in every instance.

3Personal license (for those depicted)

A person depicted in a photograph may license it, in connection with the event or appearance depicted, for their own personal, non-commercial use, to share on the platforms named in the license. Those platforms are drawn only from three categories.

The first comprises Instagram, Facebook, X, Threads, and Bluesky (a post on your own account). The second is your own personal, non-commercial website (a performer’s own site at their name.com). The third is a personal, non-monetized slideshow on YouTube or TikTok (a highlights slideshow on your own channel). No other platform is available.

It is confined to personal use, and does not extend to advertising, paid promotion or boosting, brand partnerships, monetized accounts, endorsements, merchandise or prints offered for sale, or resale.

Each license covers one placement at a single web address (URL): a further post, a second URL on the same site, or use on another site or domain each needs its own license.

4Exclusive license

An exclusive license confers sole rights to a photograph for an agreed purpose and period. It is priced separately, as it withdraws the image from license to any other party for that term.

It is subject to a single reservation: throughout the exclusive period, Nir Regev retains the right to publish and display the photograph within his own portfolio and editorial work. That right reaches across every website, publication, account, and other property of any kind that he or the publisher now owns or operates or may later establish or acquire.

That includes The Natural Aristocrat® (TheNaturalAristocrat.com), NirRegev.com, and LiveGameDeals.com and his social media, and any book, magazine, newspaper, film, or television production of his own or of any company he owns.

5Fine prints

A print is a finished physical work, produced to order and shipped to the purchaser. It is sold as an object alone, and carries no right to reproduce, scan, or publish the image it bears; any such right is the subject of a separate license. Print sales are final and non-refundable.

The Natural Aristocrat® currently does not ship prints to New Jersey. It also does not provide video licensing in New Jersey, except to a broadcaster or video programming service in New Jersey licensing footage as content for its own programming. Photo licensing, the Aristocrat+ membership, and passes remain available in New Jersey.

6Commercial Use

Licensing here is editorial and personal only; no commercial license is offered at this time.

These editorial photographs carry no model or property releases, and any advertising or other Commercial Use of a photograph without a separate written license from Live Game Deals LLC d/b/a The Natural Aristocrat is unlicensed and an infringement of copyright.

A person depicted who seeks a commercial use of their own photograph may inquire. Such requests are considered individually, priced at commercial rates, and conditioned on every Release the use requires, including that person’s own signed release.

7How to license

Select a photograph, choose License, indicate the intended use, and submit the inquiry. Terms and a quotation follow by email, and nothing is charged until the quotation is approved. A license comes into effect only when payment is confirmed and Live Game Deals LLC d/b/a The Natural Aristocrat issues your written License Confirmation. 8Verifying a confirmation

Each license is confirmed in writing under a unique number (CONF-YYYY-0000). Any confirmation may be checked, free of charge, on the License Verification page, which reports whether the number was issued and whether its period is in force. A document whose number the page does not recognize is not a license from Live Game Deals LLC d/b/a The Natural Aristocrat, from The Natural Aristocrat®, or from Nir Regev.
